Our Favourite Hedhikaa Recipes

Category: Lonumedhu Lists

Making this list made us realise that we should work on creating some sweeter boakibaa recipes. Anyway, below is a selection of our favourite hedhikaa recipes on Lonumedhu so far.

Bajiya

Making the teatime favourite bajiya of course involves a lot of steps; but don't worry, we've made them really easy.

Roast Paan

We like eating Roast Paan hot off the stove with a cup of black tea. Our version is not that sweet, so just add some sugar if you want to.

Mas Roshi

Masroshi with black tea, that's all you need for a great afternoon. Try out our quick and simple recipe

Cream Jehi Banas

Here’s a tasty dosage of nostalgia: Cream Jehi Banas. Even though the colour really doesn't matter, we like our buns red or pink.

Baked Beans Keemiya

We make some delicious baked beans keemiya with Garden Fresh Premium Quality Baked Beans.

Oatmeal Kulhi Boakibaa

In the mood for some kulhi boakibaa? Using oatmeal instead of rice makes this quick and easy to prepare. And you don't need to bake this in an oven, you can simply make it over the stove.

Dhonkeyo Kaju

Do you call it dhonkeyo kajuru or dhonkeyo kaju? Anyway, these little tea time goodies are pretty straightforward to make.

Riha Folhi

Riha folhi and kalhusai, doesn't that sound really good? We've made the recipe detailed enough for total newbies.

Kavaabu

Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, that's how we like our Kavaabu. Check out our recipe.

Kiru Boakibaa

Our Kiru Boakibaa is made with coconut milk, ground rice and a whole lot of aromatic raanbaa and spices.

Havaadhulee Bis

The best eggs are the ones covered in havaadhu. Don't you agree? Also, we've explained this recipe in real detail, so it's good for newbies.

Caramel Folhi

Try these melt-in-your-mouth Caramel Folhi; three ingredients and a little bit of time is all it takes.
