Hanaakuri Havaadhu is a curry powder made by stove-toasting spices, and it’s what gives Hanaakuri Mas its rich, signature flavor. Inspired by this classic, Hanaakuri Masdhalhu is a simpler, quicker dish that uses the same curry powder. You can make the havaadhu from scratch or use store-bought, making this an easy recipe to enjoy anytime.
We served our Hanaakuri Masdhalhu with Pillsbury Whole Wheat Roti, provided to us by one of our partners Sosun Fihaara. This ambient, ready-to-eat flat bread is made using Pillsbury Chakki Atta. The roti is easy to prepare as you can just heat it and eat it with sides of your choice.
