Tuna Panini


Tuna in a soft bun with creamy mayonnaise, this is an extremely enjoyable savory treat that you could try in just a few minutes.

To make our paninis extra creamy, we have used Best Foods Real Mayonnaise sent to us by one of our partners ADK General Trading. Best Food Real Mayonnaise is specially blended with the finest ingredients to give a rich, creamy texture and delicious taste containing omega 3 and 6.

Serving size: 6 paninis



  • 3 tbsp Best Foods Real Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 small onion
  • ½ scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 can tuna (180g)
  • 6 small burger buns (3 ½ inches wide)



  1. In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp of Best Foods Real Mayonnaise and 2 tbsp chili sauce and set aside.
  2. Thinly slice the onion and chop the scotch bonnet into very fine pieces.
  3. Then, dice the tomato into small pieces.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add the onions, scotch bonnet, 1 tsp of lemon juice, ½ tsp of salt and ¼ tsp black pepper.
  5. Then start squeezing and squashing the mixture using your fingers, till the onions are soft and watery-like. This will take around 2 minutes.
  6. Next add the tuna can into the mix after draining any excess oil/water and mix well.
  7. Add the diced tomatoes and mix it in evenly.
  8. Lastly, mix in the sauce you prepared with Best Food Real Mayonnaise and chili sauce. Portion the filling into 6 parts.
  9. Slice the 6 burger buns in half horizontally and spread a portion of the filling on the bottom half of every bun and then place the tops of the buns.
  10. Grill the paninis for 2 minutes in a panini maker till its lightly browned on top. These are best served warm and can be heated if you want to enjoy them later the day.
