Granola Bars | Lonumedhu

Granola Bars

These granola bars are the perfect healthy snack that will give you the energy boost and nutrients you need in the mornings.

For our recipe we have used the Fit & Flex Crunchy Granola in the flavor Happy Berries, provided to us by one of our partners, ADK General Trading. This is an oat-rich breakfast cereal with added prebiotic fiber, which is helpful for maintaining a healthy gut. It also has immunity boosters and zero cholesterol naturally. There are many ways you can serve this granola such as, with a dollop of honey, or sprinkled on porridge or yogurt, in milkshakes and smoothies, bars or just with some milk.

You can use the  Gannamart App  to get the Fit & Flex Crunchy Granola (Happy Berries flavor) or get in touch with ADK General Trading on their Viber hotline 736-3663.

Serving size: 12

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 275g (1 pkt) Fit & Flex Crunchy Granola (Happy Berries flavor)
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chunks

Instructions:

  1. To start off add in melted butter, honey and salt to a large bowl. Stir them together until well combined and smooth.
  2. To the same bowl, add in the Fit & Flex Crunchy Granola, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and chocolate chunks. keep stirring till it comes together nicely.
  3. Line a baking pan with baking paper. We have used a baking pan of 12×8 inches.
  4. Add the granola mix to the pan and spread it into an even layer.
  5. Then press down with a spoon or a spatula to even it out, and form a uniform, firm layer.
  6. Place the pan in the oven. Bake it at 160°C for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and cool it down in the pan. Then transfer to a freezer for an hour, to speed the cooling process.
  8. Once it has cooled completely, use the baking paper lined earlier to lift the granola mix and place it on a cutting board.
  9. Use a sharp knife to slice it to bars. We had made 12 bars by first slicing it horizontally in the middle. Then we cut it to 6 parts vertically. You can make the bars as big or small as you like.
