Froot Loops Milkshake | Lonumedhu

Froot Loops Milkshake

This milkshake is a blend of the classic vanilla milkshake and Froot Loops. It is creamy, colourful, and delicious, making it a fun treat to make with kids.

For our recipe, we have used Kellogg’s Froot Loops provided to us by one of our partners, VB Brothers. This crunchy multigrain cereal provides energy, protein, iron, calcium, and vitamins. It’s also super colourful, making the experience more joyful.

Yield: 2

Ingredients:

For the milkshake

  • 2 cups vanilla ice-cream
  • 1 ½ cup full cream milk
  • 1 cup Kellogg’s Froot Loops
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

For topping

  • 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp Kellogg’s Froot Loops

Instructions:

  1. To a blender, add 2 cups vanilla ice-cream, 1 ½ cup full cream milk, 1 cup Kellogg’s Froot Loops, 1 ½ tbsp honey, and ½ tsp vanilla essence. Blend on high speed for 1 minute or until evenly blended and smooth. Set this aside in the refrigerator while you prepare the whipped cream.
  2. For the cream, add 1/3 cup whipping cream to a bowl and whip using a hand-held electric mixer for around 3-4 minutes, or until stiff peaks form (stiff peaks mean when you lift the beaters from the mixture, the peaks hold their shape).
  3. Add the whipped cream to a piping bag with a medium sized tip. Pour the milkshake into two tall glasses (we used 5 ½ -inch-tall glasses).
  4. Pipe a generous amount of cream on top of the milkshake. Lastly, top with some Kellogg’s Froot loops (we used around 1 tbsp for each glass). The milkshakes are ready to serve.
