We bet you’ve definitely heard of the viral pistachio kunafa chocolate!
Created by Dubai brand, FIX Dessert Chocolatier, this delicious chocolate has taken the internet by storm. Creamy pistachio, mixed with crispy pieces of kunafa and covered with Premium chocolate – this dessert has it all.
Now, you don’t have to go all the way to Dubai to taste this delicacy. Some of our food businesses right here in Male’ have started to create their own versions as well!
Here, we bring to you a list of the places we’ve seen offering the pistachio kunafa chocolate.
Baking Room is really who kicked off the pistachio kunafa chocolate craze here! Their version has a lovely milk chocolate bar with homemade pistachio butter in the filling. *chef’s kiss*
Maldivian Patissier offers both LARGE pistachio kunafa chocolate bars as well as smaller versions. Dusted with gold and dotted with pistachio nuts, these chocolate bars are the epitome of elegance. Plus, they taste great too!
Eman Might Have Cooked has the perfect bite-sized pieces of this chocolate! Filled with a vibrant green filling, and encased in delicious dark chocolate, the flavours are so well-balanced in this one.
Don’t worry, they also have bigger sizes available for order too.
Fonithoshi doesn’t actually offer a kunafa pistachio chocolate bar but a macaron with the same flavours. The delicate chocolate macaron shell, filled with the rich chocolate ganache and crunchy, pistachio and kunafa is mind-blowingly delicious – and definitely worth adding to the list here!
Although Tart For You is most well-known for their delicious tarts, their kunafa pistachio chocolates are also available for order. Did you know that they make their own kunafa dough for the chocolate?!
