Peanut Butter Toast 2 Ways | Lonumedhu

Peanut Butter Toast 2 Ways

Peanut butter toast is a classic breakfast food; however, it could get quite boring after sometime. Here are two ways you can spice up your basic peanut butter toast, and take it to the next level.

For our recipe we have used the Super Chef Peanut Butter Crunchy, provided to us by one of our partners, STO (State Trading Organization). This peanut butter is super creamy with chopped peanuts inside, bringing a natural rich flavor. It is also not so sweet and spreads really easily.

As for toasting the bread, we have used the Russell Hobbs Toaster, also provided to us by STO. The Russell Hobbs Toaster has 6 heat levels, so it is very easy to adjust. In addition to that, it has a lift and look feature, which enables you to see how far your toast has browned, without cancelling the process. It also has a light blue LED illumination on the buttons, making it easier to read and use.

Ingredients:

For the apple cinnamon toast

  • 1 slice dark brown bread (6-inch in length, 3.5-inch in width)
  • 2 tbsp Super Chef Peanut Butter Crunchy
  • 10 apple slices
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon powder

For the avocado toast

  • 1 slice dark brown bread (6-inch in length, 3.5-inch in width)
  • 2 tbsp Super Chef Peanut Butter Crunchy
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tbsp chopped almond

Instructions:

  1. First, very thinly slice the apple. We have used around 1/3 of the apple to get 10 thin slices. Then mash the avocado. Set them aside.
  2. Using the Russell Hobbs Toaster, toast 2 dark brown bread slices, on heat level 4 for around 2 minutes.
  3. Now make the apple cinnamon toast. First, spread 2 tbsp Super Chef Peanut Butter Crunchy on the bread. Then place the apple slices and sprinkle the cinnamon on top. Lastly, drizzle the honey on top.
  4. As for the avocado toast, spread 2 tbsp of the Super Chef Peanut Butter Crunchy on the bread. After the peanut butter, spread the mashed avocado evenly. Lastly, top with the chopped almond and drizzle the honey.
