Vanilla Juice Petty | Lonumedhu

Vanilla Juice Petty

Vanilla Juice Petty is a nostalgic frozen treat that's simple to make and perfect for hot days. Made with just a few ingredients, these colourful ice candies are creamy, refreshing, and fun for both kids and adults.

For our recipe, we have used Saji Sweetened Creamer provided to us by one of our partners, Day Food. This sweetened creamer adds a rich, creamy flavour, making it ideal for frozen treats, desserts, and drinks.

If you are unable to find this Saji Sweetened Creamer in a shop near you, contact 9981326 on Viber.

Yield: 5 juice petty

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water
  • ¾ cup Saji Sweetened Creamer
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • A pinch of food colouring (red, yellow, green and orange)
  • 5 juice petty kothalhu

Instructions:

  1. In a large jug, combine 3 cups water, ¾ cup Saji Sweetened Creamer, and 1 tsp vanilla essence. Stir well until fully combined.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly into 5 cups or small jugs, about ¾ cup in each.
  3. Add a pinch of food colouring to each cup and stir well. We used red, green, and yellow, and made orange by mixing red and yellow food colouring.
  4. Carefully pour each coloured mixture into a juice petty kothalhu, tie the bags securely, and freeze until completely set.
