Makes: 9 Manuka Honey Pancakes

Ingredients:

For the pancakes

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup Nature’s Way Australian Manuka Honey
  • 2/3 tsp vanilla essence

For the topping

  • 2 tbsp Nature’s Way Australian Manuka Honey

Instruction:

  1. Into a large bowl, sift in 1 cup flour. Add 2 tsp baking powder and ½ tsp salt and mix the dry ingredients together using a whisk.
  2. Then add in 1 cup full cream milk, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 egg, 1/3 cup Nature’s Way Manuka Honey, 2/3 tsp vanilla essence and whisk until the pancake batter is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Heat up a non-stick pan on medium heat for 45 seconds. Then switch to low heat and pour ¼ cup of the pancake batter into the pan. The pancake size should be 4.5-inch in diameter. Let the pancake cook until you start to see bubbles form and pop on the surface of the pancake. For us this took about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Then flip the pancake and continue cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes or until the bottom side is cooked as well. Once both sides are golden brown, transfer them onto a plate.
  5. Continue cooking the pancakes until you run out of pancake batter. Be mindful to adjust the heat if the pan gets too hot.
  6. Stack the pancakes on top of each other and serve with 2 tbsp Nature’s Way Australian Manuka Honey drizzled on top. You can add sliced bananas as an additional topping.
