Horlicks Milkshake

Horlicks needs no introduction here in the Maldives. The sweet malted milk has been a beloved drink since many decades ago. And here we combine it with vanilla ice cream and milk to make a deliciously creamy and smooth milkshake chock full of malt flavour.

As you know, Horlicks is not just delicious. It has nutrients that support growth, red blood cell formation, eye function, energy and growth.

Makes: 2

Ingredients:

• 1 cup full cream milk
• ¼ cup condensed milk
• 6 ice cubes
• 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
• ½ cup Horlicks

For the topping

• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
• 1 tsp. Horlicks
• 6 marshmallows (optional)
• 2 tsp. chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

1. Add full cream milk, condensed milk, ice cubes, vanilla ice cream and Horlicks into a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into two tall glasses.
3. For the topping, add 1 scoop of ice cream, ½ tsp. Horlicks, 3 marshmallows (we toasted them over fire) and 1 tsp. chocolate chips on top of each glass.
