Dark Fantasy Milkshake | Lonumedhu

Dark Fantasy Milkshake

You don’t need to head out for milkshakes when you have this easy peasy yet creamy and delicious milkshake recipe on hand.

The star ingredient of our milkshake recipe is Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Fills which we got from one of our partners Standard & Origin (S&O). If you’ve ever tasted the biscuit, you know they come with this decadent chocolaty filling enclosed in a golden cookie. The brand has many other flavours with other fillings such as Choco Nut Fills and Coffee Fills.

Serves: 3

For chocolate syrup

  • 1/3 cup full cream milk
  • 60 g dark cooking chocolate
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

For the milkshake

  • 12 Sunfeast Dark Fantasy Choco Fills (2 boxes)
  • 2 cups full cream milk
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 260g vanilla ice cream

For the topping

  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

  1. To make the chocolate syrup, add 1/3 cup milk, 60g dark cooking chocolate, 2 tbsp. sugar to a pot and cook on high heat for 6 minutes or until thick. Then chill the mixture in the fridge for about 20 minutes.
  2. Break 12 Dark Fantasy Choco Fills into a blender and add 2 cups of milk, 1 tbsp. sugar and blend until smooth or for about 20 seconds.
  3. Then add 260g vanilla ice cream and 2 tbsp. chocolate syrup (from step 1) to your blender and blend for another 20 seconds. Keep the shake in the fridge to keep it cool.
  4. Add 1/2 cup whipping cream into a bowl and whip for about 3 and half minutes until firm peaks form. It’s easier to whip cream if you chill the cream, the bowl and the beater in the fridge beforehand.
  5. Drizzle chocolate syrup on the sides of the serving glass.
  6. Pour in the shake and add whipping cream on top and drizzle chocolate syrup on top and serve.
