The best thing about making chocolate milkshakes at home is that you can add as much ice cream and chocolate as you’d like.
1/3 cup warm water
4 tsp. cocoa powder
2 squares Lintd Dark Chocolate (optional)
200 ml chocolate ice cream
1/3 cup full cream milk (chilled)
1 ½ tbsp. sugar (or to taste)
Combine the water and the cocoa powder in a small bowl. Mix until fully combined and set aside.
If you are using the dark chocolate, roughly chop it up to small pieces and set aside (the dark chocolate makes this milkshake intensely chocolaty. So if it’s not your thing, you can add an equal amount of milk chocolate too).
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until well combined and frothy. Have a taste and adjust sugar to your liking. If you are adding more sugar, be sure to run the blender until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into glasses and serve chilled. You can serve it with an additional scoop of chocolate ice cream. Or you can top it with whipped cream as we’ve done.
