Blackcurrant Milkshake

Blackcurrant milkshake is a sweet, creamy and refreshing drink that’s perfect for hot days or whenever you’re craving something fruity. It comes together in just a few minutes and has a nice balance of berry flavour and creaminess.

For our recipe, we have used Sun-Up Blackcurrant fruit base drink, provided to us by one of our partners, Pyramid. It gives the milkshake a bright blackcurrant taste and a lovely colour, making the drink extra delicious.

Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

• 1 cup full cream milk
• ½ cup Sun-Up Blackcurrant fruit base drink
• 1 cup vanilla ice cream
• 2/3 cup whipped cream

Instructions:

1. Into a blender, add 1 cup full cream milk, ½ cup Sun-Up Blackcurrant fruit base drink and 1 cup vanilla ice cream.
2. Blend it until it is smooth for 30 seconds.
3. Pour the mixture evenly into two glasses (we used 6-inch glasses).
4. Before serving, you can add 1/3 cup whipped cream on top of each glass as an additional topping and drizzle a little bit of the blackcurrant fruit base.
