Cake Keyn Vol.02
After the success of their first cake picnic last year, “Cake Keyn” returned for its second edition with more than 100 homemade, creative cakes. With more than double the number of participants from the first picnic, the second Cake Keyn showed just how quickly the idea has grown.
This time it was held at Lonuziyaaraiy Park on 19th September, and we had the pleasure of being invited to experience the picnic for ourselves. It was a chance for cake lovers, home bakers and simply anyone with a love for cake to come together, share what they had made and meet others with the same interest.
There was certainly no shortage of variety. From rich chocolate cakes to fruity flavours and colourful, creatively decorated cakes, the picnic turned into tables full of different bakes for everyone to discover and enjoy. We even spotted a few savoury bakes, here and there.
What started as a small gathering has now become something many people look forward to, and with the second picnic selling out within an hour, it’s clear that Cake Keyn has found its place among Malé’s growing community of cake lovers.
