Banana Bread by Whimsy Bites

You might be the type to whip up some banana bread when you have a bunch of ripening bananas on hand. But if you’re the type who’d rather eat the banana bread than make it, then we’ve got a great banana bread option for you! 

The chocolate chip banana bread by home-based food business, Whimsy Bites is as good as it sounds. They also have a Nutella version of the bread and one with ALL add-ons too – chocolate chips, Nutella, and nuts (and you can choose what type of nuts you want!). 

Ordering the banana bread was easy enough; just a DM to their Instagram page and our order was accepted quickly and efficiently. They were very accommodating to our delivery request – a definite bonus point. 

Now, what does this taste like?

The banana bread was large; a 10-inch loaf in a beautiful golden-brown colour and dotted with chocolate chips. It smelled heavenly!  

The banana bread was soft and moist, not gummy at all as sometimes banana bread can be. The chocolate chips added a nice chocolatey taste to every bite, without overpowering the banana flavour. AND it wasn’t overly sweet – but nicely balanced. 

The loaf was large enough that you could either share with your friends and family or even freeze as a treat for later. Just pop it in a toaster/oven or even microwave it for a few seconds for an easy, sweet bite. 

Whimsy Bites also has a tasty-looking cookie pie and a focaccia, which based on their delicious banana bread, we’re absolutely willing to try. And you should too!
