Chicken Supreme Pizza | Lonumedhu

Chicken Supreme Pizza

Chicken Supreme Pizza is as it sounds. Supreme. A mix of simple ingredients, plenty of cheese and bold flavours all coming together on one very satisfying pizza.

For our recipe, we have used Puidor Pizza Sauce – Fine Herbs, provided to us by one of our partners, ADK General Trading. This is a rich and tomato-forward sauce, with a well-balanced blend of herbs that adds depth and flavour without overpowering the toppings.

You can use the Gannamart App to get the sauce or get in touch with ADK General Trading on their Viber hotline 736-3663.

Yield: One 8-inch pizza

Ingredients:

For cooking the chicken

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 150g boneless chicken (cut into ½ inch pieces)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp dried mixed herbs

For the pizza sauce

  • 2 tbsp Puidor Pizza Sauce – Fine Herbs
  • ½ tbsp garlic paste
  • ½ tsp oregano

For assembling

  • 1 pre-baked 8-inch pizza base
  • 100g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup canned sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp sliced black olives

Instructions:

  1. Heat up 1 tbsp olive oil in a small pot for 30 seconds. Add in 150g boneless chicken (cut into ½ inch pieces), along with ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp ground black pepper, ¼ tsp chilli powder and ¼ tsp dried mixed herbs.
  2. Stir fry the chicken on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until fully cooked through. Remove from the heat and set it aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Line a large baking sheet with baking paper and set it aside.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tbsp Puidor Pizza Sauce – Fine Herbs, ½ tbsp garlic paste and ½ tsp oregano using a spoon.
  5. Place the pre-baked 8-inch pizza base on the lined sheet and spread the pizza sauce on top. Make sure to leave around a cm from the edges when spreading.
  6. Sprinkle 100g shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the base. Top with the cooked chicken, green bell pepper, mushrooms, onion and sliced black olives, in that order.
  7. Place the baking tray in the low rack of the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden on top.
