Cheesy Garlic Bread


Cheesy Garlic Bread is a simple yet really delicious side dish you could serve with some pasta or stew. The melted cheese on top of the soft bread with the crunchy outside is a sure winner.

Although it’s both cheesy and garlicky, what makes it truly decadent is whole lot of butter in it. In our recipe we’ve used Milky Lux Unsalted Butter (Buerre Doux Pasteurise’) which we got from one of our partners ADK General Trading. Like all good butters, it’s creamy and rich with just a hint of sweetness making it great for everything from breakfast toasts to baked goods.

Serves: 4-5



  • 200g Milky Lux Buerre Doux Pasteurise’ (at room temperature, very soft)
  • 5 garlic cloves (grated)
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp. fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 18 inch baguette
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese



  1. In a small bowl mix together Milky Lux Unsalted Butter, garlic, dried oregano, salt, chili flakes, parmesan and fresh parsley until smooth.
  2. Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
  3. Cut the baguette in half lengthwise.
  4. Place a baking sheet on a tray. Lay the two halves of the bread on the baking sheet cut sides facing up. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on the cut sides.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the two baguette halves.
  6. Place the tray on the top or second top shelf of the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and it’s golden on top.
