Here we write about something heartwarming, The Avatteri Initiative's sponsor a meal program by which you get to do a great good deed by funding the meals of those in need.
Avatteri Initiative is a community organisation that focusses on the importance of kindness and inclusiveness, while bringing back neighbourliness, and what's more neighbourly than gifting someone else food.
The program facilitates meal packs to migrants and locals who due to the ongoing Covid 19 crisis are currently under the care of the Maldivian Red Crescent. And food outlets partnered with this program at the time of publishing include:
To sponsor a meal all you have to do is get in touch with one (or more) of these places. The meal packs are provided for iftar and suhoor and as you can see from the images above, the cost of a meal pack ranges from MVR 40 to MVR 50.
Additionally, The Avatteri Initiative has kicked off a program by which you can sponsor Eid gift packs too. Find the details below.
