The Greedy Gremlin’s Cookies

We finally got around to trying the cookies from the recently-opened Instagram page, The Greedy Gremlin, and – if you’re into thick, chunky, fudgy, gooey cookies – then, this is exactly your kind of spot!

They’ve got a pretty solid line-up of flavours to choose from, including classic chocolate chip, dark chocolate with pistachio, red velvet, Biscoff, and more – so, there is something for every type of craving you might have.

But, we went for the chocolate route with their Classic Chocolate Chip and Decadent Double Chocolate Chip cookies.

First up, the double chocolate chip cookies. This one doesn’t hold back on the chocolate flavour! Packed with generous chocolate chunks, topped with chocolate chips, and finished off with a melted chocolate shard, it’s basically a full-on chocolate overload in the best way possible.

The texture leans perfectly gooey in the centre, with just enough crispy edges on the outside to hold it all together. Every bite feels rich, indulgent, and unapologetically decadent, with layers of chocolate coming through in different forms. It’s the kind of cookie that’s messy, satisfying, and completely worth it – especially if you’re craving something intensely chocolatey.

The classic chocolate chip was also good, but in a slightly different direction. The base has a warm, butterscotch-like flavour that adds a nice depth and balance to the sweetness. It’s loaded with chocolate chips made from couverture chocolate, which gives it a smoother, slightly more refined chocolate taste.

Compared to the double chocolate, this one feels a bit more balanced but still delivers on that soft, gooey centre and chunky texture that makes these cookies stand out.

Overall, The Greedy Gremlin delivers exactly what you’d expect from a proper chunky cookie. If you’re into rich flavours, indulgent textures, and cookies that feel like a treat every single time, then they’re definitely worth checking out!
