Brownies by RN Bakes

If you’re a fan of chocolate, then we’ve got a great dessert for you to try! 

RN Bakes is an Instagram food page which specialises in delectable desserts; cookies, brownies – slices, cakes AND towers – cheesecakes and even cinnamon rolls.

For this article, we’ll tell you about their brownies, the brownie cake, to be more specific. 

The brownie cake is about bento-sized and comes with melted chocolate – or not – depending on your preference. We opted to go without the extra chocolate, just to get a taste of the brownie itself.

Delivery was fast, and it was at our doorstep shortly after giving the order. 

Onto our review now! 

The first thing that we noticed was the crackly, dark brown texture of the brownie cake. When you cut into it, the cake is thick and specked with milk chocolate chips. 

Despite the thickness, the brownie was moist and chewy; not airy or cakey at all. The crackled top, although something we found different, actually added to the goodness of the brownie, and gave it a nice change in texture with the crispiness and the softness. 

But the best part is the absolute fudgy, chocolatiness of the brownie. It was sweet without being cloying and balanced with the rich chocolate taste of the brownie and chocolate chips. 

On the whole, the brownie cake was absolutely delicious, and we definitely recommend giving them a try! We know we’ll be going back to try their other sweet treats for sure.
